Playing that Song Over and Over Again

Do you ever play that song over and over again till it’s literally all you hear day and night? I have this affliction.

I hear a song, boom it’s played on YouTube every other minute on repeat. It helps to ruin the song quickly, but for that few week period, it just is SO delightful to the auditory senses. Am I right or am I right? I’d go with right.

Then there are some of those gems that transcend the curse of the overplay. Nightswimming, Get Low, Goodbye Horses, I Believe Love Will Find A Way, are some winners that beat the aforementioned curse. I could listen to them over and over again and they just don’t get old.

Sometimes you just want to listen to something that you know you’re going to like, so you just put it on repeat. It’s just like food, sometimes you stick with what you know is going to be old reliable (if I had a dollar for how many Turkey Subs I’ve had in my life, I’d be a rich man).

Drop the name of a song you beat like a dead horse, until it was rendered useless to your music library.

Sometimes my playlist looks like a broken record, with the same song played over and over again. Sometimes it works, sometimes it taints the song forever.
